Music Lessons
School offers private and group lessons, including piano, guitar, violin ensembles and playing in rock band. Our teachers prepare students for RCM exams, different competitions, festivals, and annual recital.
Making music involves more than the voice or fingers playing an instrument; a child learning about music has to tap into multiple skill sets, often simultaneously. Understanding music can help children visualize various elements that should go together. These skills help in solving multistep problems in architecture, engineering, math, art, gaming, and especially working with computers.Music lessons improve concentration, IQ, awareness, discipline, listening skills and memory. Recent studies have clearly indicated that musical training physically develops the part of the left side of the brain known to be involved with processing language, and can actually wire the brain’s circuits in specific ways. Linking familiar songs to new information can also help imprint information on young minds.

Art Lessons
On Art lessons we teach different techniques including acrylic, ink, watercolour, oil painting, sketch, drawing with pencils and pastel, collage, ceramics, mixed media, sculpture and interesting sorts of crafts, like knitting, origami and leather working. Our small intimate classes are customized to meet the students’ individual needs. There are several age groups from preschool to adults, from basic understanding of the elements of art to preparing portfolio.
Years of research show that art is closely linked to almost everything that we want for our children: academic achievement, social and emotional development, civic engagement, and equitable opportunity. Involvement in the arts is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skill. Arts learning can also improve motivation, concentration, self esteem, confidence, creativity, imagination and teamwork.
